Intelligent Mobile Robots Laboratory
Interdisciplinary Technology Department
Mobile robots and artificial intelligence are at the center of attention for intelligent machines. A key issue in robotics is the use of sensors and the understanding of sensor data. Sensors such as sonar, camera, laser, infrared are being developed. Robot operating systems also vary widely, ranging from Windows to Linux. Since mobile robots must be intelligent, they are involved in issues such as exploring and recognizing unknown environments, recognizing objects, and so on.

Fields of activity

Machine vision
Machine vision refers to the use of sensors to receive signals that form an image of an object, which are then used by a computer to interpret and analyze the signals received from the part.

Machine learning
Machine learning is the science of making computers learn about a specific subject without the need for an explicit program. It is divided into three general categories: supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning.

Neural networks
Just as the human brain recognizes patterns in data and categorizes information, neural networks can be trained to recognize patterns and categorize data in a manner similar to the human brain.
